Brynn’s Journey and Top Tip:

Brynn, a registered nurse and integrated nutrition health coach, shared her personal story of being diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer at just 26 years old. Her experience led her to a profound understanding of the importance of empowerment in the healing process.

Her top cancer survivor tip? “Be empowered enough to know that true healing starts with you.” While we’re grateful for the expertise of medical professionals, it’s crucial to recognize that your journey is yours to own. Taking an active role in your recovery, whether through lifestyle changes or mental resilience, is key to thriving after cancer.

Diandra’s Journey and Top Tip:

As someone who faced Stage 3 invasive ductal carcinoma at the age of 33, my journey has taught me the importance of focusing on what you can control. After various treatments, including ovarian suppression, immunotherapy, and a mastectomy, I’m now in a place of recovery, though my journey continues.

My top cancer survivor tip? Focus on what you can control. To help with this, I created the Circles of Control resource. It helps you manage overwhelming moments by separating what you can influence from what you can’t. This approach is incredibly grounding, allowing you to concentrate your energy where it truly matters.
