Hi, I'm Diandra

Helping other cancer survivors feel a little less alone.

I’m a mom, researcher, writer, songwriter, speaker, advocate, and cancer survivor living with metastatic breast cancer.

I share the messy, hopeful, heartbreaking, funny, and very ordinary parts of living with cancer because sometimes just knowing someone else gets it makes the road feel a little less lonely.

Things I've created along the way

Cancer has taught me a lot of things I never particularly wanted to learn. Along the way, I’ve turned some of what has helped me find my footing into resources I can share with others navigating this too.

Thrive from the Start

The course I wish I’d had when I was first diagnosed with breast cancer—created from what I’ve learned navigating Cancerland myself.

Circles of Control

Free PDF Circles of Control

A free, practical tool I created for those moments when cancer makes everything feel completely out of your control.

Stories from the messy middle

Cancer changes the story. It doesn't get to write the ending.

Through writing and music, I share the real, unfiltered parts of the journey. The waiting, the what-ifs, the fear, the hope, and the ordinary moments in between.

Leaving the Waiting Room

I thought thriving would begin when cancer was behind me. Instead, I discovered how easy it was to keep waiting—for the next scan, the next milestone, the moment when life finally felt safe enough to begin.

FEATURED SONG

Leaving the Waiting Room

An original song inspired by my journey through metastatic breast cancer. “Leaving the Waiting Room” is about choosing to live in the present instead of waiting for certainty.
